Hi, I am Joscha.
VP of Operations, PNW Climate Week
Program Manager, Sustainability & Digital Transformation
Building on my experience as a program & operations manager, environmental engineer, and educator, I empower teams to build and scale organizations that contribute to a just and sustainable future.
My approach is based on a simple premise: we must act with courage, care, and curiosity.
This means embracing openness, hard work, and science. It also means responding to ambiguity with a commitment to finding and deploying solutions at scale, not with fear.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from great teams spanning sectors, countries, and cultures. These experiences have introduced me to the best of human ingenuity and reinforced my belief in our collective potential.
I think about Earth’s health the same way I think about health in my own life. Like people, our planet can only withstand so much stress before vital parts collapse. Human activities are pushing the planetary system beyond the limits that define the safe and just operating space for all of us.
This unfolding crisis affects people, geographies, species, and generations unequally. As we overstep the boundaries, more and more parts of the world become difficult or impossible to live in. It also calls for a collective response driven by strong organizations.
This is why my work today centers on developing capable and resilient organizations that are prepared to tackle the challenges we face.
